My goal is to bring powerful messages to life through great design and illustration.

To create work that is honest and inspiring.

To cultivate strong relationships along the way that are as gratifying as the finished project.

A nomad at heart, I grew up all over the globe before recently calling a sunny San Diego beach town home. My grandmother was a painter and encouraged my talent at a young age. She would be so proud to see that my young scribbles and paintings developed into a marketable skill.

I started my career as a designer and art director at EMI Music. It was so exciting working with so many musicians in such a creative environment. From there, I created The Visual Republic in 2006, first designing for other record labels before realizing that my graphic design, illustration work and lettering also served me well in other industries.

+ I’ve lived in 4 countries

+ my dog, Finn, keeps me company while I work

+ I summitted Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2008

+ I traded the hills of Tennessee for the beaches of Encinitas, CA in 2010 only to return to Nashville in 2022

+ peanut butter chocolate is my ice cream flavor of choice

+ I love traveling and experiencing new cultures

+ my photographer husband (JasonWardStudios.com) and rowdy son are the best parts of me
