2013 Year In Review

Happy New Year! I’m starting out the year with clean new project journal and a list of goals and dreams for 2014. I can already tell that it’s going to be a great year. But before moving ahead, I wanted to take a look at the past year to see all that was accomplished.

2013 was a great year for The Visual Republic with awesome new clients and tons of fun and challenging projects. I think the year was also the busiest I’ve ever been, which was a challenge in itself as I always strive to give every project 110% of my creative attention. Along with the usual list of design projects, in the past year I also helped two great companies re-brand themselves, illustrated more than ever before, hand-lettered dozens of words, titles and phrases, and even finished out the year with a movie poster design. By late December my brain and body needed a few weeks to recover, and thankfully I found some time to do just that.

I feel so blessed to do what I do — using my creative talents every day is a gift, indeed — and even more blessed to work with such wonderful and inspiring clients. So thank you, thank you, thank you. Here’s to another great year.
